The summer film program is here

On July 26, we launch our summer screenings at Pragovka; throughout the summer, the venue will host our Thursday evening programs featuring short films made by FAMU students and My Street Films participants including Q&As with the filmmakers. Before the start of the school year, Kino Světozor will host our film editing seminar. Held on August 27, the program will present editor Šimon Špidla who has collaborated on 8 Heads of Madness and Gottland among others. On September 3, Kasárna Karlín will screen Andran Abramjan’s feature-length documentary Empire Builders which has shown us who pulls the strings at the Czech far-right scene at this year’s One World festival. Also, you can attend our practical film workshops held at Start Film Fest in Bystřice pod Perštýnem in early August and Marienbad Film Festival in late August.
